Profile and reminder settings

The 16–20°C initial band is an optional sleeping-room comfort guide. The 5-minute delay and −20 dBFS / 30-second sound setting are adjustable reminder preferences, not medical limits. Age changes context, not invented safety thresholds.

Sources, sensors, and permissions

Outdoor context

Coordinates are sent to the U.S. National Weather Service when you request a forecast. No automatic location tracking.

External thermometer

Optional Web Bluetooth support for the standard Environmental Sensing Service (0x181A), temperature (0x2A6E), and humidity (0x2A6F). Many commercial sensors use other protocols. Requires a compatible Bluetooth thermometer.

Numerical readings and feedback stay on this device. Raw audio is never recorded or uploaded. Profile, settings, feedback, and up to 500 events persist locally; web and Android storage are separate.

Android companion

Android build status is being prepared. The companion supports a user-started monitoring notification, separate sound channels, lower-frequency background checks, and device sensor inventory.

APK previews require installation permission on your phone. Real Samsung background operation still needs device verification.
